It was like The Bachelor with an evil, deceptive twist. The construction worker pretended to be worth $50 million while courting 20 women. The finale - when he revealed he's broke and working-class - drew tens of millions.

Entertainment Weekly has put together a feature of some of reality TV's most memorable controversial shows of yore, speaking with the stars on whether their journey was worth it and what they're up to now.
