Eileen Davidson Heads Back to The Young and the Restless

Eileen Davidson has had the unique opportunity to play the same character, Ashley Abbot, on two soap operas.
Following over 130 episodes on The Bold and the Beautiful, however, the actress is headed back to the series on which she received her break: The Young and the Restless.
Does she hold any resentment from being passed around from the first show to the second and then back again? Not at all.
“My leaving was more storyline dictated, and I don’t take it personally. The story [The Bold and the Beautiful] went someplace else – that happens all the time," Davidson said in a recent interview. "I think of it as a cool turn of events: The Young and the Restless let me go, Brad picked me up, and now I’m back at The Young and the Restless."
