The medical, ethical debates promised by Shonda Rhimes for Season Two of Private Practice - on top of the show's usual witty banter and slew of awkward romantic entanglements - were certainly on display on last night's show.

Having taken over the practice, Sam had to weigh Oceanside's bottom line against humanely treating a teen patient, while Addison and Naomi struggled with the case of two young lovers who ... happen to be related.
