On Election Day (November 4), Americans can vote for Barack Obama or John McCain... and then enjoy a night of teenage drama on The CW.

The network has issued the following press release, focusing on its programming that night:

The CW will be the only broadcast network airing regular programming on election night, Tuesday, November 4, with original episodes of freshman series “90210” and “Privileged,” along with special election updates.

To ensure viewers can watch their favorite shows without missing election results, both “90210” and “Privileged” will deliver shortened episodes, giving stations time to air two local election updates per hour. Ninety percent of the network’s affiliates will be participating with the cut-in opportunities.
