As previously reported, Lauren Velez, who portrays Lt. Maria Laguerta on Dexter, will guest star on Ugly Betty later this season.

While details on the multi-episode role are sparse, we can report Velez will play Elena, a nurse that enters the lives of the Suarez family. Mysteriously, the character will be tied to a story line twist that might involve the death of a significant character.

So... whose nurse do you think she'll be? Which character might be kicking the proverbial bucket? And could the answers to those two questions be the same individual?
