Kristen Bell to Guest Star on Party Down

Kristen Bell is ready to Party Down.
The upcoming new Starz comedy, centered around a series of Los Angeles caterers, premieres on March 20. The man behind it? Veronica Mars creator Rob Thomas.
"I couldn't be any more excited about working with Kristen again," Thomas told TV Guide about the actress that starred in the former CW cult favorite. "Her role in Party Down is the first that we've written for a specific actor."
Bell - who appeared on season two of Heroes and narrates Gossip Girl - will portray Uda Bengt on the new show. The character is a former caterer that now ruthlessly lords over a rival company.
The actress will appear on the May 22 season finale.
Party Down's regular cast includes Veronica Mars alumni Ken Marino and Ryan Hansen, Jane Lynch (The 40-Year-Old Virgin) and Lizzy Caplan (True Blood).
