One Tree Hill Spoilers: Details on Nick Lachey Visit

at . Comments

The deal is done, and it's official: Nick Lachey will be guest-starring on One Tree Hill.

But what we don't know - or haven't until now - is exactly what the tabloid darling will be doing in small-town North Carolina, or with whom. Or even when.

Well, TV Guide says Lachey will be appearing in the April 27 episode, playing ... himself. Why? The former boy bander is hot to record a song written by Haley!

How's it all sound? The plot line, not the song? Is the prospect of hearing his cheesy music on the show worth the quality One Tree Hill quotes that will accompany it? Will this finally mean some meatier moments for Bethany Joy's Haley James Scott?

One Tree Hill Quotes

Lucas: I need you to trust me and believe me when I tell you that my heart is with you. Part of me feels like ever since we got back together you've been waiting, waiting to push me away.
Brooke: Oh great, so you kiss Peyton, again, and I'm pushing you away!?
Lucas: I love you Brooke, I don't know how else to say it.
Brooke: How about how you show it? I'm not pushing you away Lucas. I am holding on for dear life, but I need you to need me back. Okay, why wouldn't you tell me about the kiss and why didn't you call me while you were away and why won't you ever just let me all the way in? We have to go give our toasts now, about love.

Remember tonight, for it is the beginning of always. A promise, like a reward for persisting through life so long alone. A belief in each other and the possibility of love. A decision to ignore simply rise above the pain in the past. A covenant, which at once binds two souls and yet severs prior ties. The celebration of the chance taken and the challenge that lies ahead. For two will always be stronger than one. Like a team braced against the tempests of the world. And love will always be the guiding force in our lives. For tonight is mere formality. Only an announcement to the world of feelings long held, promises made long ago in the sacred space in our hearts.
