We already knew that NCIS: Legend, the NCIS spin-off would be introduced via a multiple episode arc later on this season.  Thanks to Ausiello Files, we have more information about these episodes.

There will be a total of two episodes and they will air on Apil 28th and May 5th.  According to executive producer Shane Brannan, Gibbs and crew will "travel to Los Angeles and work with the new NCIS team to solve what begins as a murder investigation and turns into something bigger."

Ausiello also revealed that there will be two cast additions and zero subtractions later on this season.  NCIS will introduce two new recurring characters: Thirty-something ICE agent Julia Yates and Fifty-something FBI director Barry Hutchinson.
