Plenty of fans have been asking ever since last year if there will indeed be a continuation of Gossip Girl's story line about Lily and Rufus' child.

We pretty much know the answer to that - but in what capacity?

According to TV Guide, the love child show up May 4 to wreak havoc on Lily and Rufus' blissful, excitement-free union. Hey, something had to, right?

Word on the street is that the child's return is kind of cliff-hang-y, and may not be resolved until Season Three, as the season's final two episodes will set up the Brittany Snow-led spinoff and reveal exactly what Bart Bass had in that envelope...
