Ratings Report: A Woeful Wednesday
Matt Richenthal at .Perhaps it was the burgeoning spring weather, but not many people were watching television last night. Almost every series suffered a drop in ratings.
American Idol (estimated 22.4 million viewers) was down approximately two million from last week; while Lost (8.3 million) dropped 15 percent among adults 18-49 year-olds; and Criminal Minds (13.3 million) decreased from its season average.
Among other primetime pickings:
- Lie to Me performed well (8.4 million).
- Not enough people are watching Better Off Ted (4.2 million).
- At 10 p.m., the series premiere of The Unusuals (6.8 million) was no match for a new CSI: NY (12.5 million).
