If you're still holding out for Clark to harness his ability to fly on Smallville, you'll be waiting until at least next season.  According to E! Online, there will be no proper flying or supersuit this season.

What there will be is a leap that goes above and beyond a tall building.  Puh-lease, we've already seen leaps on Smallville.  Bring on the flying!
