Despite the best efforts of its most dedicated fans, Guiding Light will almost definitely be canceled this September.

As a result, other shows have been wooing current stars from the CBS drama.

The latest, according to The New York Daily News, involves Daniel Cosgrove. Reportedly, executives at One Life To Live are trying to convince the Daytime Emmy winner to reside Llanview as the seventh actor to tackle the coveted role of Joey Buchanan.

This character is the son of town matriarch Viki Davidson. He was last portrayed by Castle star Nathan Fillion.
