In its latest spoiler-filled column, E! News previews a couple upcoming storylines on a pair of major CW hits.

Neither was major enough to warrant its own post, however, so the efficiency of bullet points will showcase the following Smallville and Supernatural scoops. Enjoy!

• There will be "strained relationship" between Chloe and Clark this fall on Smallville. It may eventually lead to romance, but tension is on the menu for season nine.
• When Supernatural returns, Dean (pictured) takes Castiel out for a night on the town to loosen him up. As fans might surmise, hilarity ensues.
