Last night's Season 3 premiere of Gossip Girl may not rank with the series' greatest episodes of all time, but it certainly didn't disappoint us, as it helped set the (hot!) stage for what looks like a terrific season ahead of us.

Nate is still trying to forge his own identity, with a new love interest thrown in the mix. Serena is trying to reconnect with her past, with Carter along for the ride. The Humphreys, young and old, are all very much in transition.

Chair as a couple? They're just hot, and there's not a lot else to add.
