We already knew that Christine Baranski would be reprising her role as Leonard's mother on next week's episode of The Big Bang Theory.

She debuted as the character in February.

But we had no idea what Mrs. Hofstadter would be up to on "The Maternal Congruence" until we saw the photo below. Now, Monday night can't arrive quickly enough.

Sheldon making out with anyone is gasp-worthy, but we especially share Penny's reaction at the following sight, as Sheldon locks lips with his best friend's mother...

Might this be some sort of dream sequence? Yes, the sitcom is known for those. But Penny's shock appears real, as is our anticipation to find out the circumstances surrounding this smooch next week.
