On March 11, Community will air a new episode with a special guest star:

Former American Idol finalist Katherine McPhee pops up on the episode "Basic Genealogy," appearing Pierce's step-daughter. Jeff will try to help these two get along.

McPhee has more acting experience than most singers. She's guest-starred on CSI: NY and played a major role in the movie The House Bunny.
