Of all the recent One Tree Hill quotes uttered this season, the one above may be the easiest to relate to. It's said by Haley, in reaction to Lydia's diagnosis, which plays a major role on Monday's new episode, "At the Bottom of Everything."

Who out there has not felt a need to maintain hope, even in the face of logic and rationale?
