Dancing with the Stars Elimination: Jake Pavelka

at .

Jake Pavelka became the latest contestant to be axed from ABC's Dancing with the Stars last night, and his tearful goodbye speech was one we will always remember.

Okay, not really. Dude was on two reality shows before Dancing with the Stars and we're sure he'll turn up on another before long. But Jake was kind of, a little sweet.

"This is, I think, the best season of Dancing With [the] Stars I've seen," he said. "I was so honored to be here. I can't even put it into words how much I enjoyed this."

To partner Chelsie Hightower, he added: "You're one of my best friends. I loved every second of this. I love you. Thank you for being so great to my beautiful fiancée."

Is it getting a little dusty in here?

That outfit alone should've saved Jake, are we right ladies?

Jake's totals ranked at the bottom of the show's Week Six scores, so it's hard to feel too bad about this one. Niecy Nash, meanwhile, squeaked through the bottom two.

As for the rest of the stars who remain, Evan Lysacek may have hit personal rock bottom this week, but judges' lack of support for his samba didn't register with fans.

Erin Andrews, who was second only to Nicole Scherzinger in both rounds, was the first to be declared safe tonight. Chad Ochochino and Cheryl Burke followed them.

And hey, give it up for Pamela Anderson, who seemed destined to spend more undeserved weeks in the bottom two, but came through with a great, safe showing.

Are you sad to see Jake go? Who is your favorite pair remaining, and who do you think stands the best chance of winning Dancing with the Stars?
