It's the most legendary casting news of the spring: Neil Patrick Harris really is coming to Glee.

The How I Met Your Mother star will appear on the May 18 episode of the Fox hit, titled "Dream On."

He'll play Bryan Ryan (yes, Bryan Ryan), a former McKinley High School student who sang in the choir with Will. He's now a bitter board member and returns to cut school funding and do away with the glee club once and for all.

Cue scary music, but prepare to laugh uproariously...
