Chace Crawford has been charged with misdemeanor possession of marijuana, court records show, and could face up to six months in jail if convicted.

Of course, that's extremely unlikely. Without a prior criminal history, it would be very rare for the maximum sentence to be handed down for that offense.

More than likely, Crawford will pay a fine, do a bunch of community service, be put on probation, and go back to work. But none of that is official yet.

Chace was arrested early morning on June 4 in a pub parking lot in Plano, Texas, after police found one marijuana joint in the car he was occupying.

The actor posted bail, had this very handsome mug shot taken (at least compared to most) and apparently was already moving on with life the next afternoon.

Hours later, the actor was seen sharing lunch with two of his friends at a sushi restaurant located in the same shopping center where he was arrested.
