Get ready for more fist-pumping, fake-tanning, boardwalk rioting and Jersey Shore quotes you'll be reciting the next morning ... the guidos are back in full effect July 29.

That's right, it's Season 2 of Jersey Shore, the long-awaited sophomore follow-up to the MTV series' smash hit debut last winter. Suffice it to say, it's a tough act to follow.

Beginning the new season in Miami to extend the beach season, the gang gives itself a fighting chance. Post-South Beach, they'll be back in their Jersey stomping grounds.

Drinking and damages, physical and emotional, will undoubtedly follow.

The Hills ends its six-season run July 13. A little more than two weeks later, the torch is passed to Jersey Shore as MTV's flagship franchise. Pretty sad, but it's that popular!
