Clifton Collins Jr. has landed a key role on The Event.

Because this mysterious new NBC drama is keeping details of its plot under wraps - all we know is that it focuses on a nationwide conspiracy that involves the White House and is uncovered by an average citizen - little has been revealed about Collins' character.

But we can confirm he'll come into conflict with Blair Underwood's President of the United States.

On the big screen, Collins appeared in the most recent Star Trek film. He also guest-starred on Southland last season.
