Javier Bardem Rumored for Role on Glee

Over its first season, Glee featured a number of talented guest stars.

But there was one piece of hardware neither Neil Patrick Harris, Kristen Chenoweth or Olivia Newton-John could lay claim to: an Academy Award.

Enter Javier Bardem. The Best Supporting Actor winner (for No Country for Old Men) is likely to appear on season two of the show. Speaking to Entertainment Weekly, the actor said he wants to come aboard as a rock star who befriends Artie.

"We're going to rock the house," Bardem says in the magazine's latest issue. "We're going to do some heavy metal, Spanish heavy metal, which si the worst."

The actor, who stars in this summer's Eat, Pray, Love (directed by Glee creator Ryan Murphy) adds that he wached all of season one in a week. We can't blame him.
