Jon Hamm to Voice Character on The Simpsons

What happens when TV icons Don Draper and Homer Simpson meet? We're about to find out.

The Simpsons producer Al jeans confirms to Entertainment Weekly that Jon Hamm will voice a character on this animated hit. He says:

"Jon’s a gruff FBI man. Homer asks if he can pick his undercover name and finally Jon just says, ‘Your name will be Nicky Blue Pants Altosaxophony.’ Homer says, ‘Do I get to keep the name when I’m done with it?’ and Jon says, ‘No, it’s the property of the government.’  He has no patience for Homer.”

The episode will air in December.

Hamm, of course, has proven his comedic chops with a couple stints on 30 Rock. He returns as Don Draper this Sunday on the Mad Men season four premiere.

The Simpsons Quotes

Homer: (Wearing glasses) The sum of the square roots of any two sides of an isosceles triangle is equal to the square root of the remaining side!
Man: (From inside a bathroom stall.) That's a right triangle, you idiot!
Homer: D'oh!

You know, you remind me of a poem I can't remember, and a song that may never have existed, and a place I'm not sure I've ever been to.
