Scott Porter Cast as Private Eye on The Good Wife

A former Friday Night Lights favorite is coming to The Good Wife.
Scott Porter has landed a major, recurring role on this CBS drama, as his character will be included in the merge that takes place during season two.
As first reported by Entertainment Weekly, Porter will portray Blake, a private investigator who crosses path - professionally and personally - with Archie Punjabi’s Kalinda.

In a casting notice, CBS describes Blake as "cynical," with "lots of hidden humor and sexual charisma."
Look for "definite chemistry" between him and Kalinda, the network reports. While the latter seems to have made her preference for women known on last season's finale, it's clear she's open to either gender.
In other The Good Wife casting news, Michael Ealy will play a key role on season two. It premieres on September 21.
