Shoshannah Stern has landed a recurring role on Lie to Me.

The actress, who has appeared on Weeds and Jericho, will portray a graduate student hired to help Dr. Lightman write his new book this fall.

Like the actress herself, Stern's Lie to Me character will be deaf.
