Malcolm McDowell will return to The Mentalist this fall.

The veteran actor is set to reprise the role of Britt Stiles, the leader of the Visualize Self-Realization Center who first showed up on the episode "Red All Over."

"He's a charming, charismatic, deadly character - but he's wonderful because he is so smooth. He is like Teflon and whenever he's attacked he just smiles and deflects everything," McDowell said to TV Guide Magazine.

No word yet on how many episodes McDowell will appear on next season. The Mentalist premieres it new season on September 23.
