Chris Colfer Records PSA, Glee Plans Anti-Bullying Episode

Chris Colfer solidified his Emmy chances with an incredible performance on this week's episode of Glee. Read our review of "Grilled Cheesus" NOW.

But the openly gay actor accomplished something far more important this week, recording a message for the gay community and urging troubled teens to seek help. The PSA is unfortunately necessary in the wake of a rash of teenage suicides over the past few weeks, highlighted by Tyler Clementi, a Rutgers University student who killed himself because his roommate outed him over the Internet.

Meanwhile, Ryan Murphy has confirmed that Glee will air an episode focused on the topic of bullying later this season.

Says Jessalyn Gilsig, who plays Terri Schuester: "It's important to send this message to the kids about bullying and the effect it can have, [and] we have to send it to the parents. We have to send it to the teachers.... Parents and the administration need to take responsibility.
