A riot.

According to the latest issue of Entertainment Weekly, the midseason cliffhanger that will conclude this show's December 12 episode will center around more neighborhood madness than ever before. Look for a main character to get critically injured in the violent mess.

It's safe to assume this riot is what Marc Cherry referred to a few weeks ago when discussing a planned "huge, huge scene" for December.
