Lauren Holly to Play Key Role on Rookie Blue

Lauren Holly is off to Canada.
The actress, who most recently appeared on Covert Affairs and who was killed off NCIS after years as a regular, will guest star on season two of Rookie Blue.
The actress will portray Elaine Peck, a Superintendent in charge of Operations at the Metropolitan Police Service on the police series set in Toronto.
As you might have surmised, Elaine is the mother of Gail Peck and is in line to become the first female Chief of Police.Rookie Blue will return to ABC in the summer of 2011.
