The Closer: Casting for Recurring Character

The new season of The Closer will bring with it a new enemy for Brenda Johnson.

This TNT his is casting for a recurring attorney, one described by network insiders as "fearless and devious" and who will be suing Brenda and the LAPD on behalf of a dead gang member's mother.

The lawyer will introduce himself to Brenda as a process server, serving everyone on the squad with papers. Except Sergeant Gabriel.

The Closer returns with new episodes on July 12.
