NBC's The Voice has touted itself as "the singing competition unlike any other" and like last week's premiere, Tuesday's episode was certainly true to form.

Despite another confusing twist - the judges got to recycle some previous castoffs, having been too discerning initially - the audition process was a big hit.

After working overtime to fill their teams of eight aspiring stars, Christina Aguilera, Cee Lo Green, Blake Shelton and Adam Levine now enter "battle" mode.
