Elizabeth Rodriguez will be donning a badge on Prime Suspect.

The former Law & Order star has joined the cast of the upcoming NBC drama as a detective who works alongside Maria Bello's Jane Timoney in New York City. The series is a remake of a long-time British hit and will air on Thursdays this fall.
