Valerie Cruz to Recur on Alphas

Valerie Cruz has joined the cast of Alphas as a part-time player.

The former Off the Map actress will recur on the new SyFy series as Department of Defense Special Agent Kathy Sullivan. The character will first appear on the show's third episode.

Alphas centered on a about a group of undercover crimefighters with super-human abilities. It stars David Strathairn and debuts on July 11, following the premieres of Eureka and Warehouse 13.
