Guess season six really will take Dexter Morgan on a spiritual journey.

As previewed by producers over the last couple weeks, the upcoming season of Dexter - premiering on October 2 - will find out favorite serial killer wondering about a higher power and thinking about what lessons he wants to pass on to his son.

The first footage from this fall backs up these spoilers, as Dexter aired a new promo this week at Comic-Con that featured him asking a victim: What would Jesus do? We also get shots of guest stars Mos Def, Colin Hanks and Edward James Olmos, looking and sounding creepier than ever.
