Cassidy Freeman to Work at The Playboy Club

Cassidy Freeman is the latest Smallville alum to find new work.

Days after Justin Hartley was cast on an episode of Chuck, and Erica Durance joined Charlie's Angels, the actress behind Tess Mercer has landed a recurring role on The Playboy Club.

According to TV Line, Freeman will portray Frances Dunhill, a Chicago socialite who works for Eddie Cibrian's Nick Dalton. Look for this young woman to be hiding a secret.

The Playboy Club opens its doors on September 19 and Freeman will debut on the third episode of the season.
