The Town of Eureka Comes to San Diego: Comic-Con Coverage

at .

With a large cast and a lot of people wanting their attention, the Eureka press room was an absolute frenzy. Not that I'm complaining, of course. I got to be there.

It's my pleasure to share with you the round table discussions of Colin Ferguson, Salli Richardson-Whitfield, creator Jamie Paglia and guest star Wil Wheaton. And once again, I apologize in advance for my equipment. But the photo above sure is cute, isn't it?

Did you enjoy Wil Wheaton's turn as Dr. Parrish? Well, he sure enjoyed playing him! Get some insight in to the rotten attitude of the character and how he might grow as we get to know him (yep, he'll be back!).

Jamie Paglia, an avid Twitterer, has always been very involved with his fans and reviewers. It's refreshing knowing that someone cares so deeply about the show they put out. I had my own run in with him about their first Christmas episode, and he told me "Yes, Carissa, there is a Santa Claus." We chatted about that and what to expect on their unexpected second Christmas episode. It will all make sense when you watch the video!

Next up, Salli Richardson-Whitfield talks about getting the role of Alison against the odds, how her chemistry with Colin helped out and what it's like to be so far away from her children while they shoot in Vancouver and how Trevor Jackson (Kevin) has become like another member of her family.

What you find when you visit Comic-Con and cover a press room is that catching your favorite star is like a roll of the dice. No dice on my table getting Colin Ferguson, so I scurried over to another table to catch the end of his visit over there. I'm sorry there wasn't more to give you, but you can see how much he fun he had engaging with the table.

Carter: You sure this is not some sort of science-geek-ren-faire thing?
Allison: Well, either we are both having the same delusion or we are really stuck in 1947.

Carter: What does a nanny have that I don't?
Allison: A PhD in early childhood development with an emphasis on organic nutrition.
