While viewers await the return of Switched at Birth in January, the stars of this ABC Family hit are keeping busy.

Katie Leclerc has signed on for The Big Bang Theory, while The Hollywood Reporter now confirms that Vanessa Marano will stop by for an episode of CSI this fall.

The young actress will play Samanta, the estranged daughter of an ex-con named Frank (Johnny Messner). Look for father to go searching after daughter on the episode, after learning she's become a street gang groupie.

CSI moves night and returns on September 21 with Ted Danson at the helm.
