Jeffrey Wright to Play Neurosurgeon on House

An Emmy winner is headed to House.

Jeffrey Wright will appear on an episode in early 2012, TV Line reports, as a neurosurgeon who once served as Foreman's mentor.

“This is an example of great writing attracting great talent,” says executive producer Greg Yaitanes, who will direct the installment. “We are thrilled to have Jeffrey join us. He brings the heft and magnitude you dream of when pitting a character like this against House. As a fan, I am dying to see the two of them work together.”

The latest House outing, meanwhile, actually satisfied our picky critic. Read her take on "The Confession" NOW.

Taub: Thanks. Makes me feel much better hearing my wife's a gold digger.
