The role of Sebastian Stan on an upcoming episode of Once Upon a Time has been revealed.
The former recurring Gossip Girl player will appear on a spring installment of this fantasy series as The Mad Hatter. Yes, that Mad Hatter.
In the show's own way, "we find out how the Mad Hatter became mad," executive producer Edward Kitsis tells TV Guide about the character, adding overall: "We're hoping this tells you the story of the Mad Hatter, but also will leave you with questions about Wonderland."
Look for Roger Daltry of The Who to voice the Caterpillar on this same episode.
Once Upon a Time is off this Sunday and then returns on March 4 with "Dreamy," as previewed above.
