2 Broke Girls is on the way to TBS.

The cable network announced today that it will pay over $1.5 million per episode to air reruns of the CBS comedy, which finished 2011-2012 as TV's top-rated new series with adults 18–49 and the number-one new comedy among total viewers.

"When 2 Broke Girls premiered last fall, it immediately found its audience and appeared to us to be a perfect fit for TBS," said Michael Wright, president, head of programming for TBS, TNT and Turner Classic Movies. "With its funny and endearing lead performances, a terrific supporting cast and sharp writing, 2 Broke Girls brings a fresh, contemporary, attitude to the classic sitcom format. We believe 2 Broke Girls is poised to enjoy a long, successful run, and we look forward to adding it to the TBS line-up."

The network already airs The Big Bang Theory reruns and will be the home of Cougar Town Season 4 this fall.
