Carrie Preston to Guest Star on Royal Pains

Carrie Preston is bringing her all-around awesomeness to Royal Pains.
The actress, currently appearing on True Blood as Arlene and beloved for her multiple appearances on The Good Wife, will stop by that USA hit on September 5.
According to Michael Ausiello of TV Line, Preston will portray a romance author named Jackie Van Ark whose daughter is in need to help from HankMed due to mysterious symptoms.
Look for Jackie and her child to end up with something unexpected in common.
