So... where will everyone be? That's the main question heading into Glee Season 4.
At the show's Comic-Con panel discussion yesterday, we were treated to a great deal of scoop from producers Ian Brennan and Brad Falchuck regarding the whereabouts of various characters when new episodes return on Thursdays this fall.
Lea Michele, Cory Monteith, Darren Criss, Naya Rivera, Kevin McHale and Jenna Ushkowitz were also on hand.
Approximately three months will have passed when we meet back up with the show. A new school year will be starting.
Sue will have had her baby, Brennan said, adding: "She's now Sue with a baby and a different set of priorities but still can't help but make fun of everyone as often as possible."
Kurt will be in Lima, Santana at the University of Louisville, Finn in the army (He's the real question mark, says Brennan and Falchuk, with the latter adding: "He went off on this adventure [into the army] and nobody really knows what’s happened to him.”) As for Rachel?
The dancing aspect of life at NYADA will be a challenge, even with help from guest star Kate Hudson, whose teaching style is all about "negative reinforcement," said Falchuk.
What about Will and Emma? "They're still engaged and very much in love and living together and doing very dirty things," says Falchuk.
The second episode of Season 4 will feature Heather Morris and another Britney Spears tribute.
Samuel Larsen and Alex Newel WILL return at some point, while Chord Overstreet will likely be made a series regular.
Look for plenty of new characters, including: Puck's younger brother and a roommate for Rachel in NYC: "We're definitely looking to repopulate the choir room and casting some new people to bring in there, the idea is to keep that part of the show vibrant," Falchuk said.
