Smash Season 2: Sean Hayes Cast as...

Smash is set to stage a Will & Grace reunion.

With Debra Messing already on board as Julia, NBC announced today that Sean Hayes has signed on for multiple Season 2 episodes.

The actor will appear on multiple episodes as Terrence Falls, a television and movie star who is making his Broadway debut in a production based on "Les Liaisons Dangereuses."

Look for the character to become a "major thorn in the side for Ivy Lynn" and others, according to a network press release. It's safe to assume one of those others will be Hayes' former costar.

Smash returns at midseason with a new showrunner and multiple new cast members, from Hayes to Jennifer Hudson to Krysta Rodriguez.

Hayes, meanwhile, has become a NBC mainstay. He guest-starred last season on Parks and Recreation (above) and has also booked a recurring role on Up All Night Season 2.
