The Voice Review: More to Come?

at . Comments

With the excitement of more seasons of The Voice on the horizon comes the disappointment of more blind auditions. Yup, they're not over. Only four contestants made it through on Tuesday night, which means each coach needs to more players before we can move onto the Battle Rounds.

Who is getting on a roll? And whose team is hurting late in the audition process? Let's take a look at what happened in the latest edition of the Blind Auditions by taking a look at the teams...

Cassadee Pope's Blind Audition

Team Xtina
Tuesday: 1-for-2, Total: 14-for-26 (54%)

Christina is now the most popular coach, as adding just one singer to her team on Tuesday moved her past Adam with a 54% success rate. That one singer was the first one we saw, Sylvia Yacoub. Born in Egypt, she not only had Xtina's dream hair, but she put forth a great performance of "Only Girl in the World."  She had some grit, plenty of attitude, and pushed Cee Lo to quiet the crowd so that he could whisper "I want you to be on my team." She chose Christina.

Team Adam
Tuesday: 0-for-2, Total: 14-for-27 (52%)

The second most favorable coach was the first ever winner, Mr. Adam Levine. Unfortunately for him, he went 0fer on the night, failing to beat out Blake for both Charlie Rey AND Cassadee Pope.

Team Blake
Tuesday: 2-for-3, Total: 14-for-30 (47%)

The dude is on a roll. He was bringing up the rear not too long ago, but it seems recently he has found his inner used car salesman. Picking up both the aforementioned Charlie and Cassadee, Blake's team is shaping up nicely.

Charlie came from a smog shop and gave the coaches and America a very nice version of Michael Buble's "Home." He didn't try to overpower us, just letting the smooth performance do his talking.

Cassadee, on the other hand, was very powerful in her rendition of "Torn." The former band member who toured with Fall Out Boy was raspy and had some nice tone, but I wasn't nearly as sold as the coaches. She had way too much vibrato going, and unlike the Adam and the gang, I thought she certainly did falter after seeing the chairs turn. Not that there's anything wrong with that. Heck, if anything, I think it proves she could be much better than the audition we just watched.

Team Cee Lo
Tuesday: 1-for-3, Total: 14-for-38 (37%)

Respectable for him, Cee Lo went 1-for-3 on the night, adding Amanda Brown to his squad. She may have really started getting excited about music when she realized there was more than just the church, but you could definitely still hear the church in her performance. She definitely has some talent, but will it be enough to help Cee Lo win his first The Voice championship?

Who were your favorites from Tuesday night's auditions? Which coach are you continuing to come back to watch? And can you believe that there are still more auditions?
