Billy Dee Williams will help Modern Family ring in 2013.
The veteran actor, who played an NCIS "Namesake" this month, will appear as himself on an upcoming episode titled "New Year's Eve," interacting with Ed O'Neill's Jay during a family trip to Palm Springs.
Elsewhere, according to Entertainment Weekly, Nathan Lane will reprise his flamboyant role as as Pepper a week after Williams stops by, meeting up with friends Mitch and Cam on a golf course.
Other Modern Family Season 4 guest stars Matthew Broderick (tonight), Paul Scheer, and Jason Mantzoukas.
