Liza Minnelli to Sing as Herself on Smash

Liza Minnelli will be making us laugh and cheer in 2013.

The actress, already booked to reprise the role of Lucille 2 on Arrested Development, will also guest star on a midseason episode of Smash.

In news broken by New York Magazine, the Broadway legend will appear on the installment titled "The Surprise Party" and sing a duet with Tom (Christian Borle).

Smash Season 2 kicks off on February 5 and will feature such other big names as Jennifer Hudson, Jesse L. Martin, Jeremy Jordan and Sean Hayes.
