J.K. Simmons to Play Politician on Parks and Recreation

J.K. Simmons is headed to Pawnee, Indiana.

Actually, he's headed to Partridge, Minnesota.

In tremendous news first broken by Entertainment Weekly, the veteran actor (Law & Order, Spider-Man, The Closer) will guest star on Parks and Recreation Season 5 as that town's mayor, a position held at one time by Adam Scott's Ben when he was only 18 years old.

The installment, airing in March, finds Ben and Leslie taking a trip to Minnesota in order for the former to be forgiven for that whole Ice Town idea that bankrupted the town.

Annabeth Gish will also guest star on the episode as Ben’s sister.
