Kurt Sutter and John Shiban Team Up for New FX Drama

FX has closed a deal with a pair of dramatic heavyweights, as Kurt Suter (Sons of Anarchy) and John Shiban (Hell on Wheels) will team up for Lucas Stand.

The series is described by the network as a "dark, action/horror" program that will feature both episodic and serialized elements.

Lucas Stand will chronicle the quest of a damaged ex-special ops soldier who - according to a FX press release - "has been chosen to traverse time and place to hunt down and kill Hell's law-breaking demons."

Lucas Stand will mark Shiban’s first project with FX, while Sons of Anarchy is the network's highest-rated series in history.
