Shohreh Aghdashloo to Play Zigeunersprache on Grimm

Shohreh Aghdashloo is headed to NBC.

The veteran actress and Oscar nominee will recur on Grimm Season 2, TV Line confirms, coming on board the fairy tale-based drama as as the “Zigeunersprache," also known as the Queen of the Schwarzwald Gypsies.

As teased by that site, look for the character's roots to run deep in the woods of Austria.

Aghdashloo - who has also appeared on The Mob Doctor, NCIS and House - will debut in April while Grimm returns with new episodes on Friday, March 8 at 9/8c.
